Welcome to Maru Jiu Jitsu Kai
Jiu Jitsu in Bradley Stoke, Patchway, Winterbourne, Bristol
Maru Jiu Jitsu is an affiliate of Jukoshin Ryu and the World Elite Black Belt Society
Maru Jiu Jitsu Kai was formed in 2013 by Kyoshi Trevor King 6th Dan. It is a dynamic and thriving club dedicated to teaching effective self defence skills, keeping fit and having fun. Maru, meaning circle in Japanese, is a testament to the fact a lot of our techniques have a flowing motion to them and use rotation to create power.
The club is very friendly and all are welcome to come along and train, no previous experience is required.
We teach two separate syllabi. Children follow our internal Maru Jiu Jitsu Kai junior syllabus designed specifically for young children. Adult members (15+) follow the Jukoshin Ryu syllabus devised by Soke Bryan Cheek (10th Dan)
